Yep, I'm in of course.

Haven't spoken to the other clubs yet but I will once we have a few more details sorted out.

I'm thinking a Barossa run would be good this time around, either starting or finishing in the city somewhere. Though since I don't frequent that area I have got very little idea of what would actually be a good route. Anyone with any ideas for stop offs, POI, or any nice driving roads post em up!

:D

My 2c worth:
Start at Adelaide oval carpark.
Take Gorge Rd through Cudlee Creek, then Adelaide-Strathalbym Rd through Gumeracha, Birdwood, Eden Valley, Past Mount McKenzie, through Angaston and Finish at Nurioopta
There's a park in Nuriootpa with heaps of carparks/servo/food maybe that could be a end point, good for photo's etc.

Google Maps says: 1 hour 39 mins & 97.6 km
Mix between City/hills/country driving.

I like the sound of that... very much :D

I've just put this up on Bellet.net now. They're planning a cruise of their own on the 28th I think? So we'll definately be making this one for December.

i dont even think ill have a road gemmi then, but i will possibly drive to the first meet point with the drag car on my trailer if there is going to be a big enough turnout.

You can put me down for a cruise.
Are we allowed to bring partners and kids or should we keep them tied up at home.

Tyla, if you don't have a Gem to drive by then, you can always passenger in mine. I'd just have to pick you up from somewhere beforehand.

Chad, of course man! You are more than welcome to bring the missus and the little one along.

Random date proposal; 11th or 12th (Sat or Sunday respectively)? Couple of weeks away but not too close to C-day.
More than likely we'll make it a midday into early arvo thing. Around 11:30am gathering.

How's that sound Pav? Seeing as how you're the one who came up with the idea :)

11th sounds good if that's ok with everyone as I have family commitments on the 12th.

The park at Nuriootpa where the cruise could finish has an old steam train there for kids to play on and a decent sized playground and parklands.

Once all details are confirmed, I could photoshop some fliers up if you like, I drive past a few Gems in my area regularly and they don't seem to use this forum.

11th, 3 days after the rego runs out on the coupe :(

Will try and make it with the missus though in the Mazda.

I was thinking that one of the stops could be the Motor museum in Birdwood? There's a good deli across the road for food and drink.
